2015 Halloweekend Special: An Awesome Halloween

Village Sports Club’s members and guests were treated to an array of entertainment (balloon making, trick or treat, mime entertainment), activities (giant inflatables, arts and crafts, go karts) and great food (create your own pizza, nachos, hotdogs) in this year’s 2015 Halloweekend Special: An Awesome Halloween. It’s much-awaited Trick or Treat activity was a step up from last year’s with its themed stations like Candyland, summer inspired ‘Tropical Breeze’ and even Minions were elaborately decorated.

2ND TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Three (3) VSC Members emerged victorious last May in the 2nd Table Tennis Tournament of Village Sports Club.  Top guy this time around is Jeriel Castro, with Frankie Santos and Mike Garcia as second and third placer respectively.  Club GM Gregg Trinidad and Sports & Recreation Supervisor Elise Dela Pena spearheaded the event supported by sponsors Accel Prime Technologies Inc. by Bong Aguila, Sinangag Express by  Joey Del Rosario and Hotel Nao by Jeriel Castro.

8 BALL SCOTCH DOUBLES TOURNAMENT

A competition fit for partners took place last May at the Tempus Sports Lounge of  Village Sports Club. The 1st 8 Ball Scotch Doubles Tournament challenged participating club members & guests to kick it up a notch with Terrence and Mike Puzon landing as champs. Marcus Ramos with Vic Van Tuico and Gerry Guido with Jeffrey Lua came in as 1st runner up and 2nd runner up. The event was sponsored by Aquabest, Hotel Nao. Laundry Best and Waterscapes.

VSC’s Christmas Glitter Light’s Up

On its 2nd year, the Village Sports Club once again roused members and guests with its lights and sound show entitled Christmas Glitter.  The 15-minute show with thousands of lights illuminating the club façade accompanied by Christmas tunes made it a spectacle for members and guests last December.  The club hopes to provide an exciting and accessible entertainment for all BF residents with its annual lights and sounds show.

The Village Sports Club, a haven for athletes and sports enthusiasts in the South, has a new logo, a new campaign, and new names behind its commitment to empower you to play your sport to the fullest.

The Club’s new logo takes on a more modern look, with the ‘play button’ icon serving as its visual cue for the slogan LIFE IS A SPORT. PLAY IT. For years, this slogan --coupled with the Club’s state-of-the-art facilities— has inspired players to push their chosen game to the next level. Here, sport is taken seriously --just as much as serious players do.
